With a site that only went live in May 2017, Unity Beauty Essentials began working with Ruckus in July 2017 and required full management of their online presence.
As a startup in the saturated beauty sector, driving traffic to the site and promoting brand awareness were the primary goals of the marketing strategy formulated by Ruckus. However, simply getting users to the site was not enough, as the site was lacking in content, difficult to navigate, and struggling to put the brand across in a clear and consistent manner.
Since July, Ruckus has carried out a complete homepage redesign, in addition to implementing a content creation, PPC and SEO strategy. The digital marketing efforts carried out were complemented by print advertising and PR activities in order to provide a multi-platform marketing programme. The success of this aggressive marketing approach can be seen in the consistent month-on-month growth in terms of both site visits and revenue.
